We actually sold out of the available copies, but the store assures me that they plan to order more. Setting Sun of Spring

The last book signing of the spring is this Saturday at Barnes and Noble of Brandon! I am scheduled to be there from 1-3PM. Please stop by even if you're running late, since I usually stay well beyond the allotted time.

Much of what we refer to as "Time" is essentially a matter of perspective, since the experience of it can by accelerated, slowed, or seemingly halted according to one's state of consciousness. Time does pass, but the significance of its units of measure are entirely subjective. One need only examine the varied cultures of the United States, or, for greater contrast, those of the global community around us, to observe the differing import placed upon units of time. Therefore, do not allow the passage of hours, minutes, seconds upon your personal timepiece to make a indelible mark upon your health by perceiving them as grievous tyrants to which we are enslaved. In God's vision of time, those moments of empathetic care that we sacrifice to another soul are never wasted. Have you ever missed the time you took from your day to greet a lonely stranger with a smile? We never have to regret lost time when we are focused upon the Son, instead of anxiously minding the sun. It is only when we forget the Creator of day and night that we are strangled by the inadequacy of a day's length. Pencil His whisperings into your dayrunners, and remember that He is a merciful God, who has much to bless us with if we give Him a moment now and then to guide the use of our "time."

I enjoyed the time I spent talking with some of you this past Saturday at Family Christian Store of Palm Harbor. Likewise, I look forward to meeting more of the hearts treasured by God, whether they've been introduced to Christ or not. The more people I meet, the more I see of the treasure for which Christ laid his life down. Every time I look into the eyes of someone, I see a beautiful soul that God loves. I will probably chat more than sell, listen more than sign, but time is in His hands.

Seeing Things and Then Some

Dear Readers,

I hope to meet you at one of the signings scheduled for May! I will be at the Palm Harbor Family Christian Store on May 13 from 10AM to 2PM. In Brandon, the author signing event scheduled at Barnes and Nobles might stretch a little beyond the 1-3PM time, at the store manager's suggestion.
If you have enjoyed Seeing Things, and are looking for a new read, a subsequent manuscript is near completion! It'll take some time to secure publishing, however, so your patience is deeply appreciated.
The Friendship Circle of First United Methodist Church of Brandon will hold a book discussion on Seeing Things next Friday from 9:30-11:30 AM, for those of you who are able to attend. Dear Readers,
Since this is the first time I've set up a blog site, please bear with me if it isn't as technologically marvelous as those you might have become accustomed to viewing. I will do my best to remain current online, although I am currently neck-deep in a new manuscript. My counseling ministry is due to gain momentum soon, too, and clients deserve a precious status in the prioritization of time.
If you are still searching for a copy of Seeing Things, it is available through most online book retailers, like Amazon.com or http://barnesandnoble.com. If you've read it, I appreciate your feedback. Remember, I'm a sensitive, counselor-type, so be gentle!
I am still looking for signing opportunities. So far, several of Florida's Family Christian Stores have provided opportunities to meet remarkable individuals, and the experience has been a veritable blessing. I had a chance to personalize each copy with a message uniquely designed for the recipient.
May Author Signing Events are scheduled for Palm Harbor's Family Christian Stores on the 13th, and Brandon's Barnes and Noble on the 20th. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your comments!
